9 years, and many losses later, I watched the last U.S troops come into Kuwait and then the gate was closed. Such a simple action after years of pain. I wish the Iraqi interrupters well, they are unsung heros and it's unfortunate that their future is so uncertain.
This is all very bittersweet and somewhat surreal.

On our way!
We have been lucky enough to receive some donations from generous caring people, so we are now on the path to getting our first mattress for a deserving veteran.
